That Dirty "H" Word

Hiatus. That's what I'm taking.

++++++++

Hey there Silly Chickens,

I am going to take a Morgylicious little break. As you know I am training for a new job, the kids are starting back to school, and the Morgetron Familio needs to settle into a routine. I need to concentrate on that for a while, but before I did that I wanted to pop in and say YELLO!

Over the past few days I've gotten a little sad about not being a teacher right now, especially since the kids are in school now ... and obviously I'm not. I've decided to only teach one online course at a time instead of two, and I have one job for my little business lined up and potentially another one on the way.

Oh and before I forget, I am blogjacking over at Le Casa de Dutch Bitch. This is all going down tomorrow (8-15-08). Visit me there, and if you stop, leave me a message so I know you made it safely. If you don't comment, I'll worry about you and think you no longer love me or that you're dead and we all know that could lead to years of expensive therapy and mood-altering drugs, so just come over, will yah?

Hubbo and I have just been chillin' lately and I'm really glad that I married the dude that I did because he is being so supportive of me right now and urging me to do what I should've done long ago -- and that is to write a book.

It was funny because when I announced to my students and colleagues last school year that I was taking a break from teaching, two rumors (that I know of) started circulating. One was that I was taking a break because I was pregnant. (HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. Ummmm...NO.) The other one was that I was going to write a book. No less than a dozen kids asked if they could please please please be characters in my book.

That was not necessarily why I was taking a break, but now that I have four days off while the kids are in school, this seems like a viable option. The blog will most likely suffer, but the book is for the greater good to quote one of my favorite movies, Hot Fuzz, except minus the serial killerness of it.

Any-wah. Me love you. I'll pop back in soon, but it will be very inconsistent for the next week or so. La la la. This will hurt me 42% more than it will hurt you, so stop cryyyyyying.

PS: I have provided you with mucho mucho grande el photografios. OH! and a video.

If you wanna talk, shoot me an email!

I feel ya, sista. Short Round starts *gasP* HIGH SCHOOL in two weeks. between booster shots, running around buying uniforms, her complaining because we can't buy supplies before she gets her syllibi (is that a word?) I, myself, feel the H word coming on. uhg. uhg uhg uhg.

I am glad that she is going to an all girl school--although I was told by the other moms that when they have mixers with the boys schools---DO NOT tell them when you will be picking them up! just SHOW UP!!! HA! she knows that If I do that, she'll find me dancing in the middle of the dance floor as all the kids are cheering me on. Cuz, like...I've already done that.
